I cannot believe Hayes is three months old already! It seems like just yesterday I was doing his newborn shoot. Hayes is just the sweetest, most content baby and seemed so happy to have my big ol camera in his face. Seriously, he was just smiling away the whole time! Something that has impressed me recently is how much more I notice children growing and changing through the lens of my camera. I work at a pediatrician's office through the day and am always noticing at how quickly the little ones seem to grow, but when I come back to do photo shoots after a few months have gone by I am just blown away by the change. It's really special to be able to capture the sweet little moments of infancy and allows you to really see a child's personality in a way that I think is really only visible to parents. I feel so blessed with every "baby's first year" shoot I do. It is truly my favorite!
Here he is -- 3 months old!
We did a shot just like this at Hayes newborn shoot and will contiue to do so until he's one year. This way we can really see how he's grown!
Gotta the love the little diapered bum and tiny feet!

Meet: Teal and Jeff -- Part I
I met Teal and Jeff last Saturday for their engagement shoot in the beautiful shoreline town of Essex, CT. These two are so in love and absolute naturals in front of the camera -- we had so much fun! Teal & Jeff recently got engaged while on a trip in Telluride, Colorado and couldn't be more excited about their upcoming wedding in Teal's hometown of Houston, Texas. We started the morning off in the garden at Jeff's parents home -- it was an amazing spot for photos and the peonies were in full bloom (peonies are my favorite!). We then moved on to a great old barn at a friend's home. . .it was complete with chickens, an awesome stone wall and an antique corvette. I was in heaven! I could have stayed there all day, the possibilities were endless! Last stop was the Essex marina -- one of my favorite places to shoot in the town. We were lucky the rain held out and had perfect weather all morning.
Congrats Teal & Jeff. . .enjoy these shots from the garden. Keep a look out for part II!
How cute are they??
Peonies!
Beautiful Teal
A little twirl in the garden :-)

Audrey & Kelvin
Finally, more than a sneak peek! Here are more shots from my afternoon second shooting with Eileen in the cute shore-line town of Westport.
We found this fabulous brownstone building covered in Ivy. I think I scared Eileen when I first saw it, I was so excited. It was a beeaauuutiful spot to shoot!
We came across this great cupcake shop, Crumbs. The cupcakes were absolutely unreal. They had every flavor imaginable. If you're in the mood for a cupcake, this is the place to go!
We came across this beautiful design studio, Lynne Scalo Design. The elegance of it just seemed to fit the mood and their beautiful dress clothes. We had a lot of fun shooting here.
