Emma and Sofia. . .they're my girls. Well, not actually but I'd like to think so. They happen to be my neighbors and the cutest, most beautiful, spunkiest girls in my life (but I'm not biased :-)I've known the girls since they were tiny little muffins and their parents, Heather and Pedro, have become good friend of ours over the last few years. I was so glad to finally get to their house for a mini photo shoot of the girls (we only had about an hour this time), but we had a blast playing outside, riding bikes and playing dress-up in the fairy house :-) Emma and Sofia are so carefree and creative. . .I love it! So here are a few of my favorites from this little shoot. . .Hopefully there will be more to come this Fall!

Taia & German Turn 27!
Taia and her husband are exactly the same age. . .same day, same year, almost the same time. To celebrate their birthday the family went out to a great Spanish restaurant in West Hartford called Barcelona. The tapas and Paella were amazing!

NY State Fair + Brooks & Dunn
I'm just now catching up my blog from when Phil's parents were here. . . . .
Before we went to Niagara Falls, we stopped at the New York state fair in Syracuse and saw Brooks & Dunn in concert. The concert was amazing and the fair was great as well. . . It was very much like our "Big E" here in New England. Nothing like artery-clogging fair food! Coralie was blown away by the "millenium fries" (see pic below! :-)

Here's to you, Alex. . .
In all my blog posts since April of this year, I have failed to make mention of my very best friend, Alexandra. My life would not be complete without her friendship. . .we have shared so many fun times over the past few years and she is the one friend who truely "gets me" and forgives me even when life gets busy and I haven't called in weeks :-) We first met in the fall of 2004 at Boston's Lesley University. We lived together in a beautiful red, Victorian - style house that had been turned into a dormitory. It was situated on a quiet street next to Harvard Law School( how lucky were we?? :-). We instantly clicked and were attached at the hip until I left Lesley in my Junior year to get married (!!) and transfer to a school closer to my home. She has since continued to finish her 4 years at Lesley - persuing a degree in Elementary Education, but moved back to her home in New Hampshire. So. . .we are now about 21/2 hours from each other which makes it much harder to get together. Though our lives are different now, we continue to be close and get togther whenever we can (not often enough!)Here are a few pictures of us over the past couple years. We are hopeing to meet at the Head of the Charles Regatta in October. Thanks for your continued support and friendship, Alex. . .love you!!

This past week we took Phillip's parents to Niagara falls. I had never been myself, so it was quite fun! A long trip, but worth it. On the way there, we stopped in Syracuse New York and went to the state fair. Cotton Candy. . .Corn dogs. . .yum! We had an all around great time. Here are a few pics. . .more to come :-)
