This past weekend, Alex and I went to the Head of the Charles. For those of you who don't know, the HOC is a huge regatta in Boston that happens every October. Rowers from all over the world come to compete and take on the infamous Charles River. I try to go every year, but this year I had extra incentive, as my community rowing association in Simsbury had two boats competing! GO FVRA! :-) Anyway, I drove up to Alex's house in Hamstead NH first and we enjoying spending Saturday at the HOC and Sunday in Newburyport, MA. Newburyport reminds me of Essex, CT. . .it is so quaint and fun! The pictures of this weekend turned out to be a series of Alex shots and boats from a distance :-) (I didn't have a long lense with me this time, so I don't have any crew action shots. .too bad!!)Enjoy!!
