Jenn and Madelyn -- Maternity session

This past weekend I had the opportunity to meet up with Jenn and her sweet little girl, Madelyn. Jenn and her husband, Mike, are expecting their second baby daughter next month. Mike is in the Army and is current deployed in Iraq. They are anxiously awaiting his return for a visit in October. . .what a reunion that will be! Little Maddie is quite the little monkey, she is so expressive and fun to photograph. . . I can't wait for their family shoot in the fall when I can capture more of her! Jenn just couldn't be more beautifully pregnant. It was wonderful to capture her pregnancy and that special bond between mommy and daughter.

Gottlieb Maternity Shoot

What a great day! I was reminded again today just how much I love what I do! Angie is a friend of mine who is expecting her third little one next month, so I joined her today to do a maternity shoot and also get some shots of her and husband, Doug, as well as their sweet little girls, Grace and Harper. Grace and Harper are twins that couldn't be more different. . .or more fun! They spent the afternoon playing with their horses, dollhouse, and topped it all off with a yummy cupcake -- true little girls! I love it!
Angie is a beautiful Mum that couldn't be more easy-going and relaxed in front of the camera if she tried. She was truly a pleasure to shoot.
A big thanks to Angie's Mum (who came all the way from OK) for watching the girls while we did maternity pictures!

Davis Family/Maternity shoot

This past saturday I joined my neighbors, Liz, Glenn and little Brady for a snowy afternoon inside. Liz is 8 mos. pregnant, so we started the shoot intending for it to be mostly a maternity session, but I couldn't help but turn it into a full family shoot. . .which I love!! Nothing is better than capturing a day in the life of a young family!  Liz and Glen are the sweetest couple and are clearly so in love with their little boy. They are huge Red Sox fans, which is evident by Brady's Red Sox clad nursery, complete with a painting of a jersey with the family's name on it. I can't wait to meet the latest addition! Enjoy!
