Thankfully, the day of the wedding we actually had beautiful weather. The Hilstead Museum is an absolutely gorgeous location for an outdoor wedding, complete with lovely historic buildings, gardens and rolling hills that seem to go on for miles.
Here are some highlights from the day. . .
Yep. . .just a minor detail. . . who needs power anyway?
A taste of the grounds at the Hilstead.
The Dress :-)
Brett and Wheatley were married by their sisters. . .they did a wonderful job.
Brett's grandmother read a very touching poem during the ceremony. I love the emotion here.
You may kiss the bride!
I love this moment between Brett & Wheatley just after the ceremony.
The handsome groom. . .
Brett was very "GQ" in his seersucker suit!
I just had to include the most important family member! Meet Brett & Wheatley's pup, Party. Party was very helpful during the family formals. . .isn't she sweet!!
The flowers
. . . .and the rings. The inside of Brett's band read "Sweet Wheat".
These were the cocktail napkins. . .fun ring shot :-)
The reception was a blast. . .it was a bit warm and dimly lit but boy did the everybody have a good time!! Brett & Wheatley were all smiles. . .
Their first dance (and the paparazzi all around them :-)
The cake cutting got a little messy!!
And they danced the night away. . .

Nice job, Traci!! I have to say...my favorite has got to be the shot of the grandmother reading her poem. So touching! Also love the shots of Brett and Wheatley with the beautiful hills in the background.
These are great wedding photos - you "non-wedding" photographer. I think German and I are going to have to get married again.
